From a Vision to a Movement of Hope
Hope Global Ministry began with a simple but powerful vision: to bring hope, healing, and transformation to communities in need. In 2015, this vision came to life through the faith and commitment of Shapa Konyak and Tanya Konyak, a missionary couple from Mon District, Nagaland.
Witnessing the deep challenges faced by young people—lack of education, joblessness, poverty, and hopelessness—they were moved to act. What started as a small effort to uplift local youth quickly grew into a broader mission of social, educational, and spiritual development across North East India.
Milestones of Growth

2015: Hope Global Ministry is officially registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Outreach begins in rural Nagaland with a focus on youth engagement and education.

2017–2019: Expansion into vocational training—including tailoring, computer literacy, and small business support. Community partnerships begin to form.

2020: During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry launches relief efforts, distributing food, hygiene kits, and spiritual care to affected families.

2021–2023: Establishment of training centres in Mon, Tizit, and Tuensang offering specialized programs in tailoring, hardware repair, baking, bamboo craft, and more.

2024–2025: Launch of bamboo nursery and plantation, poultry farming, and community-based entrepreneurship programs aimed at creating sustainable rural livelihoods.
A Journey Rooted in Faith and Service
From its humble beginnings in Chenwetnyu Village, Hope Global Ministry has grown into a dynamic organization serving multiple districts. Its faith-based foundation remains central—guiding every outreach, shaping every program, and inspiring a new generation to rise with purpose.
Today, Hope Global Ministry is not just an organization. It is a movement—a growing community of changemakers, volunteers, partners, and visionaries dedicated to empowering lives and building brighter futures.
